As an independent foundation under the Harvard umbrella, the Institute needed an identity that would honor its relationship to the university yet celebrate is mission to nurture Asian studies.
To capture the Institute's east-meets-west heritage, we evolved a color palette that places the Harvard
crimson alongside purples, emeralds, and golds gleaned from images of
art from East and Southeast Asia.
Each year, the Institute’s print materials incorporate student experiences and photos. Students love t-shirts, so we developed branded apparel, merchandise, and boxes for gifts to visiting scholars.
