This non-profit champions small-boat fishermen and sustainable fishing practices. To grow awareness for their mission, they wanted a fresh identity and a story that would hook audiences beyond their local community.
For 25 years, the Cape Cod Commercial Fishermen’s Alliance (formerly the Cape Cod Hook Fishermen’s Association) has provided advocacy, education, and a funding mechanism to help sustain the tradition of small-boat fishing and protect local seafood sources.
Vervaine designed a website that serves as a source for information and a community resource. Both the website and printed collateral use photos of local fishermen to tell an emotive visual narrative about the organization — and the people and communities it benefits. We also created print and online marketing tools for fundraising events and community partnerships, as well as some pretty cool merchandise.
