Naked Farm came to us with a tasty challenge: create a brand identity for their handmade jams, hot-sauces, and rubs that conveys their serious commitment to good ingredients with a humorous edge.
A hand-drawn illustration plays up the made-by-hand origins of these products. That was especially important because they’re sold primarily at farmers’ markets. We riffed on the au naturel theme, without getting too racy, nor too cartoonish. It had to work on labels for jars and tins as well as on banners and display signage.
Considering colors: punchy, yes. But black-and-white was too stark for this brand. We paired black with peach instead. For earthy appeal, sans the Earth shoes.
