Table No. 1 wanted to be the first stop for wine-savvy epicures on Nantucket. We gave it a distinctly New England identity with an urban touch.
Here was a delicious assignment: create a standout brand identity for a premium wine and cheese purveyor with a shingle right on Nantucket wharf.
Table No. 1 gathers hand-picked artisanal specialties of fine foods and wines from across the globe. For the shop elements, we aimed to capture Nantucket’s salty simplicity with a hint of New York sensibility. The logo is crisp with classic type rendered in smoky indigo.
For packaging, we created custom illustrations that add color and dimension to tissue wrap, cheese paper, wine cards, and gift tags. The slightly retro imagery pairs perfectly with the logo and messaging for this quaint-yet-worldly table.
